We chatted with him during his visit to the atelier of Fiancée Couture, his exclusive distributor in the province of Seville, on the occasion of the presentation of the 2019 bridal collection of his firm José María Peiró for Whiteday.
His new collection, composed of two inspirations, «Vintage» and «Natura», dresses a very feminine, romantic and natural bride, barely without artifice, with respect for the physiognomy and personality of each woman as a premise.
The use of «old-fashioned fabrics» stands out, such as the delicate lace made in Calais (France), with the «leavers» looms of the eighteenth century. This gives her creations an atmosphere «like the haute couture of yesteryear».
«This type of lace is only made by producers in France with these 18th century machines, so it is a very artisanal process,» explains José María Peiró, who stresses that, as the machines are very old and slow, they are not produced in quantity, so the large chains cannot afford them.

The place chosen for its charm and characteristics, was the Finca Villa Maria, an old palace from the early twentieth century that perfectly combines the spirit of ancient architecture with modern facilities, which made possible a bright and sophisticated atmosphere.
