The Colegio Mayor Universitario San Juan Evangelista, Social Headquarters of this Association, is a university center that was opened in this location in November 1966 and, although academically attached to the Complutense University of Madrid, is governed by a private Board of Trustees, which in the first instance of its creation belonged to the Santa Maria Foundation at the service of the Church of the Archbishopric of Madrid, passing later to the Socio-Cultural Work of the Caja de Ahorros de Ronda and later to the Obra Social Unicaja.
At the head of each classroom is the coordinator, always a schoolboy, responsible for preparing and directing together with the other schoolboys of the classroom as many activities, competitions, lectures, etc.. believe of interest to the whole of San Juan.
In the days when there was no piracy or the Cine Club was of great importance in the school. In spite of the change with the arrival of new technologies, the Cine Club continues to offer us a weekly movie in a real cinema. It also organizes the Cinema Week in spring.
